Collaborative 'Legacy Wall', Arts+Disability 2016

I was very excited to be invited as a guest artist at Accessible Art's 2016 Arts Activated Art+Disability Conference. The main scope of my idea was to build a timeline for visitors to reflect on the history of Arts+Disability itself as well as come together to congratulate ourselves for the remarkable sector that each and everyone contributes to. The Legacy Wall was very collaborative, open-ended project. It invited people to think about historical events and their significance, simply comment on the inclusive nature of the conference, some delegates marked personal milestones (I'll let you guess which one is mine!), write out hopes for the future, send out words of encouragement to others, or pay tribute to those who have been loved and lost.

The photo below depicts the finished wall (with me and my pink hair for the occasion).
